How we help support our community
Australian Business Limited Apprenticeships Centre is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSW Business Chamber (NSWBC).
ABL Apprenticeships Centre and NSWBC believe in ‘good corporate citizenship’ are actively involved in supporting many important causes including:
- Campaigning on behalf of the NSW business community to boost apprenticeships funding
- Developing apprentice and trainee opportunities within our organisation
- Promoting apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities via career expos and school career events
- Helping to increase the number apprenticeships and traineeships available by participating as members on influential committees and advisory groups
- Promoting awareness of and uptake of apprenticeships and traineeships amongst key priority groups
- Sponsoring a range of award ceremonies that recognise the achievements made in training and education by business and their apprentices and trainees
- Sponsoring the MOBI Yacht Nirimba, enabling the apprentices who originally built her to purchase the vessel, which is used to reward Apprentices who have achieved success and recognition in their field
- Fundraising events for a variety of charitable causes, including dollar matching of monies raised by staff
- Helping to reduce our impact on the environment by setting a best practice standard in corporate sustainability.
