ABL Apprenticeships Centre launches Kickstart Mentoring initiative
New interactive support services, designed to help employers mentor their apprentices and to help apprentices in getting through their apprenticeship.  

Kickstart Mentoring Initiative
The Kickstart Mentoring initiative will provide innovative and targeted mentoring services to Apprentice Kickstart Australian Apprentices.

Apprentice Kickstart Extension
The Federal Government has extended the Apprentice Kickstart Program which more than triples the first year incentive payment to small and medium sized employers, who commence an apprentice under 19 years old in a skills shortage trade between 12 May 2010 and 12 November 2010.

Cessation of Innovation Commencement Incentive
The Innovation Commencement Incentive ceases for new commencements from 12 May 2010. Funding is being re-directed to support emerging skills priorities identified in the Skills for Sustainable Growth package.
